THE UCC’S JOURNEY

Our academy is one of three founding training schools that started the Universal Combat Center in Norfolk, VA. We first made the UCC our home in 2023 and the epic journey of transforming it from a neglected building to a clean, safe, and exciting training center has been one epic tale!

In July of 2023, the martial communities of Ludus Ferocia, Applied Defense Concepts, and Tidewater Ludosport melded their collective manpower, brainpower, experience (and wallets) and rose to the challenge! The result is a building that doesn’t even remotely resemble what we started with! We are proud that our training center is genuinely community-built.
