THE BATTLE BARN’S JOURNEY

Our academy is one of the three founding training schools that started the Universal Combat Center in Norfolk, VA. We first made the UCC our home in 2023, and the epic journey of transforming it from a neglected building into a clean, safe, and exciting training center has been nothing short of remarkable! In January of 2025, we expanded and opened a second location in Fredericksburg, VA, where the martial communities of Ludus Ferocia and the Society of Creative Anachronism Fredericksburg have blended into one training space at the Battle Barn.
